Jan 10, 2017 (newstodate): The Polish airline LOT is to announce the opening of flights to two new destinations in summer 2017.
As the exhibition World Expo 2017 will start in Astana on June 10, 2017, LOT will offer flights from Warsaw to Astana, in Kazakhstan, after filing an application operating scheduled air services on the route already at the beginning of August 2016.
Another novelty on the carrier's route network from summer 2017 will be flights from Warsaw to Tehran, in Iran - a new service first emerging on its plans in November 2015.
