Jan 04, 2016 (newstodate): Norwegian has announced plans for a massive expansion at its Scottish base at Edinburgh Airport.
Norwegian has been operating at the airport since 2009 and is now offering flights to Copenhagen, Oslo, Stockholm, Barcelona, Tenerife, and Malaga.
In 2017, the airline will expand its offerings at Edinburgh Airport with new routes to the US east coast, with destinations to be announced later this month.
Adding more Boeing 737 capacity, including the Boeing 737 MAX, to the base at Edinburgh Airport, Norwegian has started the process of recruiting more than 100 cabin and 30 pilot crews in Scotland.
