Jan 04, 2017 (newstodate): Estonia's Nordica and the Polish partner LOT have now filed a notice of consolidation to seek government approval of their plans for joint control over the Estonian company and capacity provider Regional Jet.
A fully-owned subsidiary of Nordic Aviation Group, Regional Jet is the capacity provider to Nordica with a fleet of two CRJ700 and four CRJ900 aircraft on Estonian AOC.
According to the plans, announced in November 2016, LOT will take 49 percent of the shares in Regional Jet that will have three more aircraft in 2017 operating both for LOT and on ACMI contracts with other airlines that will remain a business fully independent from the cooperation with LOT.
