Jan 06, 2015 (newstodate): The Danish regional aircraft leasing company Nordic Aviation Capital has add 25 more aircraft to its fleet, bring it to a total of 380 aircraft.
The latest addition derives from a deal with the US-based leasing company Air Lease Corporation and includes a portfolio of 23 ATR 72-600 and 2 ATR 42-600 aircraft leased to nine airlines globally.
NAC's current fleet of over 345 owned and 35 managed aircraft includes, ATR 42, ATR 72, Bombardier Dash 8, CRJ900, CRJ1000, CS300, E170, E175, E190 and E195.
In addition, the group has a further 58 aircraft on firm order.
Originally focusing entirely on turboprop aircraft, NAC in May 2016 acquired Jetscape Aviation Group, a leading provider of regional jet aircraft leasing, opening up for NAC's expansion into the regional jet aircraft leasing market.
