Jan 03, 2016 (newstodate): It may come too close to Hubris to name a new airport "Limitless Airways"..
At least, the fate of the Croatian/Swedish start-up carrier Limitless Airways that performed its first charter flight on April 2, 2015, from Rijeka, in Croatia, to Gothenburg with its first Airbus A320 aircraft may prove a case in point.
In 2015, the carrier launched seasonal summer flights from Rijeka, Croatia, to four Finnish destinations Jyvaskyla, Kuopio, Lappeenranta and Tampere with a weekly rotation on each route, and in Denmark Limitless Airlines operated a weekly flight between Rijeka and Billund Airport.
By the start of this year, however, the carrier had its Croatian AOC revoked for failing to meet its financial obligations, and staff has now been fired, and the aircraft returned to its Tunisian owner.
Based at Zadar Airport, Croatia, Limitless Airways cooperated with Croatian consulting company Aviocats that was also one of the founding partners behind the airline, together with the Swedish ScandJet Aviation Group.
