Initially slated to start on April 11 and running till October 28, 2017 with four weekly rotations between Helsinki and Keflavik, Finnair has decided to add a fifth weekly flight right from the start - and also announced that route will be operated year-round with three weekly rotations during the winter schedule.

As of May 14, 2017, five weekly frequencies will be added year-round to the Copenhagen route, and compared to the previous summer season, Finnair is increasing capacity on the Copenhagen route by 21 percent.
Finnair began flying to Billund on April 4, 2016 and will now increase its capacity on the route between June and August to four weekly rotations with an Airbus A319, replacing the E90 aircraft.
With this aircraft change, available capacity on the Billund route will now increase by 11 percent.
