Jan 18, 2017 (newstodate): Etihad has changed its mind about the planned stop of services to Minsk, in Belarus.
In November 2016, Etihad announced that services between Abu Dhabi and Minsk would cease from March 25, 2017, due to dwindling demand in the market, and flight frequency would be cut from seven to three weekly rotations during Q1, 2017, before the route was closed.
Now, Etihad has reversed its decision, continuing the flights also during summer 2017 with three weekly rotations using Airbus A319 aircraft on the route.
The route was Etihad's first into Eastern Europe, launched on August 15, 2008, with two weekly rotations using Airbus A319 aircraft.
