Jan 13, 2017 (newstodate): The first commercial operator of the Bombardier CS300 aircraft, Latvia's airBaltic has now put both of the first two aircraft delivered in commercial scheduled service.
airBaltic took over its first CS300 on November 28, 2016, the second aircraft was delivered on December 31, 2016, and the third aircraft, now having left the final assembly line, will follow in Q3 this year.
In total, airBaltic will have eight CS300 aircraft in the fleet by end of 2017, of the 20 aircraft ordered so far.
Introducing the first CS300 on scheduled flights from December 14, 2016, the carrier has now completed more than 100 flights and flown over 200 hours with the new aircraft, and with these new aircraft in the fleet the carrier plans to launch 10 new routes in 2017.
