Sep 15, 2016 (newstodate): The Hungarian LCC Wizz Air is to launch services on a new route between Hungary and Norway.
With the first flight on April 10, 2017, the carrier will open up a new route from Budapest, in Hungary, to Bergen, on Norway's west cost, offering two weekly rotations with Airbus A320 aircraft.
In a press release, the carrier claims that this will be the first direct service by Wizz Air between Budapest and Norway.
The carrier's memory seems to be rather short, though: from May 1, 2009, Wizz Air suspended services between Norway's Oslo Sandefjord Airport and Budapest after only one month of operations.
