Sep 21, 2016 (newstodate): Pegasus Airlines' 49 percent-owned Kyrgyz subsidiary Air Manas has launched flights on a new route to China.
With the first flight on September 19, 2016, the carrier operates a daily rotation on the route between Bishkek in Kyrgyzstan and Kashgar, in China's Xinjiang Uighur province.
The flights connects with Pegasus Airline's own flight between Istanbul and Bishkek, allowing passengers to transfer at Bishkek for the onward flight connection.
Adding Pegasus Airlines' flights from a range of European destinations to Istanbul, the new route opens up for the first direct connection to the Chinese destinations.
