Sep 16, 2016 (newstodate): The Danish company Sky Greenland has decided to add another four aircraft to the fleet.
-We are in the process of acquiring two Fokker 100 and two Embraer 145 to the fleet, all on lease-purchase contracts, says Gert Brask, Sky Greenland owner and CEO.
-The aircraft will be placed on the AOC of Denim Air and all four are contracted for operations in various parts of Europe, says Mr Brask.
In January 2016, Sky Greenland took over the Dutch airline Denim Air with three AOCs covering Fokker 50, Fokker 100 and Embraer 145.
In August 2016, Sky Greenland also signed a lease-purchase contract for two Fokker 50 aircraft to be operated on a coming new domestic route network in Greenland under a strategy comprising both passenger and cargo operations.
After completion of the technical approval and painting, the two Fokker 50 aircraft will become operational with Sky Greenland by mid-October 2016.
