Sep 29, 2016 (newstodate): Ryanair has called the Danish press to a meeting today, probably to unveil plans for new routes out of Copenhagen Airport.
The meeting today will be chaired by Michael OLeary, Ryanair CEO, and Kenny Jacobs, Ryanair's Chief Marketing Officer.
Apart from that nothing has evaporated about the content of today's press meeting, leaving media to rumor mongering.
During this year's H1, Ryanair generated almost one mio passengers securing the carrier a position among the top airlines driving growth at Copenhagen Airport.
Ryanair is thus continuing the expansion of route offerings at Copenhagen Airport despite being forced to close down its base opened in March 2015 with up to four Boeing 737-800 aircraft deployed to serving 11 routes following a court ruling in July 2015 supporting Danish unions' rights to take action against the carrier over labor contract issues.
