Sep 23, 2016 (newstodate): Ukraine International Airlines is to continue the build-up of its new-generation aircraft fleet in 2016.
In 2015, the carrier has so far taken delivery of eight Boeing 737-800 aircraft, and a ninth aircraft will be added before the end of this year.
The expansion is to continue in 2017, however, as the carrier plans to take delivery of a further eight Boeing 737-800 aircraft in 2017, according to Interfax interview with UIA's President and CEO Yuri Miroshnikov.
In the fleet now are 39 aircraft, including three Boeing 737-300, one Boeing 737-300F, six Boeing 737-500, 16 Boeing 737-800, four Boeing 737-900ER, four Boeing 767-300ER, and five EMB-190 aircraft.
