Sep 12, 2016 (newstodate): The Lithuanian MRO provider FL Technics has started cooperation in a Power-by-Hour program with the Thai cargo carrier K-Mile Air.
The contract took effect from September 1, 2016, and FL Technics will ensure continuous spare parts supply for the carriers Boeing 737-400SF aircraft operating air cargo charter flights across South East Asia.
FL Technics will ensure both routine and AOG spare parts delivery to the carriers hub at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International Airport, but the agreement also covers spare parts deliveries to airports in Vietnam, Singapore, Hong Kong, as well as other destinations in the region.
The support by FL Technics will be provided by the MRO company's Bangkok-based subsidiary which together with HQ team in Lithuania will ensure supply of spare parts to locations covered by the contract.
K-Mile Air started operations in May 2006 to provide both scheduled and charter cargo flight in South East Asia, and in March 2014 Farnair Switzerland acquired 45 percent of the stake in the carrier.
