Sep 16, 2016 (newstodate): Building in the existing cooperation, Jetpak has signed a new agreement with SAS Cargo.
-SAS Cargo is an important partner, especially in the Scandinavian markets where the bulk of our shipments are carried on SAS flights, says Kenneth Marx, Jetpak Group CEO.
-The new three-year agreement will allow us to develop long-term solutions rather than sub-optimizing on a year-to-year basis, and this will further strengthen our offerings to customers of fast deliveries at high quality and competitive costs.
-The agreement is not, of course exclusive; based on customer requirements we will always pick the individual flight option that best matches the job ordered, and on many routes both SAS and other carriers including Norwegian are operating. But most Jetpak shipments go by SAS and with our extended partnership this will develop further, says Mr Marx.
Set up in 1979 and owned from 1995 till 2006 by SAS, Jetpak offers door-to-door express deliveries, primarily within 12 hours throughout the Nordic region.
Jetpak Group was acquired by Polaris Private Equity DK in 2006 and now operates into more than 230 destinations and more than 3,500 daily flights in Europe.
