Sep 27, 2017 (newstodate): A loyal Airbus customer, the Hungarian LCC Wizz Air is now testing the Airbus A321neo for which orders have been placed for delivery of 110 aircraft.
The carrier is currently performing its first test flights with the aircraft from Budapest, while deliveries will take place from 2019 till 2024.
With the A321neo, Wizz Air will be able to open up even longer routes at low seat-mile costs.
Now in the fleet are 63 Airbus A320 while the first A321ceo was added in November 2015.
The carrier has placed orders for a total of 30 of which 10 are now operating with Wizz Air, with the remaining aircraft to follow until 2018.
