Sep 26, 2016 (newstodate): While some snags still remain to be removed, the new Finnish carrier under formation, Go! Aviation is now seeing things moving its way.
By the end of last week, leasing contracts was signed for three Pilatus PC-12NG aircraft, with the lessor of one aircraft being a Polish company and a German company owning the second, while the third aircraft is still being sourced.
Details such as delivery schemes are to be announced shortly, and in the meantime Go! Aviation is firming up its organization with appointments of the last remaining key staff as well as preparations at the stations to handle the coming flights.
-As planned, our initial routes will be Kuopio-Helsinki and Helsinki-Tallinn, but we are of course already evaluating additional destinations for our future expansion. The business model remains with the focus on pre-paid monthly subscriptions for unlimited flights on our routes, with no last-minute sales on the eight-seat Pilatus aircraft, Riikka Oksanen. Go! Aviation CEO told newstodate last week.
