Sep 20, 2016 (newstodate): After two test flights, Airbus has now moved Finnair's seventh Airbus A350 aircraft to the delivery center.
The seventh A350 delivery will be the last slated for this year, and after the customer acceptance flight the aircraft will be handed over to Finnair by the end of this month against July 2016, as earlier planned.
Long overdue, the completion of the aircraft was delayed by long waiting times for cabin equipment as production snags on the part of Airbus' suppliers have still not been overcome.
With currently six Airbus A350 aircraft in the fleet, Finnair is now the second-largest operator of the aircraft type, only overtaken by Qatar Airways with 10 aircraft delivered.
After the forthcoming delivery of the 7th aircraft, Finnair will wait until February 2017 to take in its eighth Airbus A350.
