Sep 01, 2016 (newstodate): Finnair is deepening its cooperation with the Swedish regional carrier BRA to expand its coverage of the Swedish market.
Finnair has thus extended its code-share operation with BRA to cover new routes in Sweden.
As of September 5, 2016, Finnair's code will be added to BRA's routes between Bromma in Stockholm and Trollhaettan, Visby, Kalmar, Ronneby, Angelholm/Helsingborg, Vaxjoe, Sundsvall, Halmstad and Aare/Oestersund.
In addition BRA's code will be added to the Umeaa-Helsinki route, which BRA operates for Finnair.
This cooperation expands Finnair's reach in Sweden, and connects these Swedish cities via Bromma airport in Stockholm to Finnair's extensive international route network from Helsinki.
Today, Finnair's own destinations in Sweden are Stockholm Arlanda, Gothenburg and Visby, at Gotland.
BRA, earlier Braathens Regional Airlines, performed its last flights for SAS in April 2016 and has then switched over to cooperating with Finnair in the Swedish market.
