Sep 06, 2016 (newstodate): Delta Airlines has again decided to suspend flights to Moscow from New York.
The last flight in 2016 will be performed today, September 6, 2016, and after this Aeroflot will be alone in providing direct nonstop services between Moscow and New York.
Delta Airlines earlier suspended flights on the route from December 2015, citing low demand in the market, returning however from May 16, 2016, with five weekly rotations on the route operated with Boeing 767 aircraft.
Starting from June 2003, Delta Air Lines was the first US carrier to serve Russia nonstop from its John F. Kennedy International Airport hub.
