Sep 15, 2016 (newstodate): The Austrian airline People's Viennaline has contracted Denim Air to operate one Embraer 145 on a new route.
The route between Altenrhein, in Switzerland, via Germany's Friedrichshafen to Cologne/Bonn comprises the world's shortest international flight lasting only eight minutes to cross over Bodensee between Altenrhein and Friedrichshafen and the 55-minutes flight between Friedrichshafen and Cologne/Bonn, served with two rotations on weekdays.
In January 2016, the ailing Dutch airline Denim Air with three AOCs covering Fokker 50, Fokker 100 and Embraer 145 was acquired by the Danish company Sky Greenland, owned and managed by Gert Brask.
