Sep 07, 2016 (newstodate): Starting from September 21, 2016, Air China will be operating flights between Beijing and Warsaw, Poland.
But contrary to earlier information, the carrier will be offering not four, but two weekly rotations on the route with Airbus A330-200 aircraft.
The carrier's Star Alliance partner LOT is already offering three weekly rotations on the route with Boeing 787 aircraft since May 29, 2012, and together the two partners have thus now have five weekly services between Poland and China, and not daily services as earlier expected.
Poland will become Air China's third new market in Eastern Europe, since the carrier on May 1, 2015, launched flights on a triangular route Beijing-Minsk-Budapest-Beijing.
