Aug 18, 2016 (newstodate): The Icelandic carrier WOW Air has announced a decision to move operations into Stockholm Arlanda Airport starting from November 18, 2016.
WOW Air launched flights from Keflavik to Vasteraas, 100 km from Stockholm, from May 19, 2016, offering four weekly rotations to be operated on a year-round basis.
Operating at Stockholm Arlanda will provide WOW Air passengers with more onward international connections.
WOW Air is also to launch flights from Keflavik to New York from November 25, 2016, in addition to its flights from Keflavik to Boston, Los Angeles, Montreal,San Francisco, Toronto and Washington.
Operating at Stockholm Arlanda will also benefit from the airport's coming US pre-clearance status entailing smooth entry into the US gateways.
In the fleet of WOW Air are now six Airbus A321, two Airbus A320 and three A330-300 aircraft.
