Aug 04, 2016 (newstodate): Starting from September 16, 2016, the Ukrainian carrier Ukraine International Airways will again expand its services of flights between Ukraine and Lithuania.
New on the schedule will be flights on the route between Lviv and Vilnius, to be operated three times weekly with Boeing 737 and Embraer 190, depending on actual booking figures.
Since June 1, 2013, UIA has been offering flights on the route between Kiev and Vilnius, adding flights between Kiev and Palanga from June 19, 2016.
Thanks to the liberalization of air services between Ukraine and Lithuania, the carrier will thus now increase services in the Lithuanian market to comprising three destinations.
