Aug 25, 2016 (newstodate): A Polish delegation will be visiting Russia for talks on enhanced Siberian overflight rights.
The Polish carrier LOT is currently operating flights to Beijing and Tokyo, and will add new flights to Seoul in South Korea from October 17, 2016, offering three weekly rotations on the route with Boeing 787-8 aircraft.
LOT opened flights to its first Asian destination, Beijing, in May 29, 2012, and the second Asian route connects Warsaw to Tokyo since January 13, 2016.
Due to lack of traffic rights to operate in Russian airspace over Siberia, the return flight is more than two hours longer than the outbound flight and LOT hopes to gain smoother access to flights on Russia's Siberian air lanes.
