Aug 02, 2016 (newstodate): Results with Norwegian's cooperation with Denim Air for support to Norwegian's summer operations in Norway have proved a success.
So much that the one-month ACMI contract covering July has been extended by a further month, comprising six daily rotations in August on the route between Oslo and Trondheim.
Denim Air, since January 18, 2016 owned by Sky Greenland, acquired one further Fokker 100 for the job, and after the completion of the contract the aircraft will be stationed at Denmark's Aalborg Airport and offered on the ad-hoc charter market, as well as operating for Sky Greenland's own purposes including upcoming scheduled flights yet to be announced.
