Aug 04, 2016 (newstodate): New provider of consultancy to the airline business is Aviation Care Consulting, set up by June 1, 2016, managed and owned by Ivar Busk and located near Copenhagen Airport.
Bolstered by 35 years of experience with SAS Airlines, Mr Busk has served with the airline in various capacities including Manager Airside Safety and Aircraft Accident Investigator, deeply involved in issues between airlines and e.g. insurance companies, and member of IATA Airside Safety Group.
-In most cases, regional and other smaller airlines will not be able to accumulate sufficient experience in dealing with insurance issues when it comes to aircraft incidents and damages for instance caused on ground during handling operations, or in the case of bird strikes, says Mr Busk.
-Aviation Care Consulting purports to bring in this experience and competence to its airline customers, either during contract negotiations with providers or in the case of handling concrete insurance and other issues.
-Another important point is to draw attention to the underlying and inherent causes for mishaps and potential risk factors involved in daily operations within airport environments that may lead to operational disruptions if not analyzed and properly managed.
-Taking a pro-active stand against these and a range of other operational and technical issues will enable the airline to rein in potential risks and eventually save on costs from disruptions, as well as optimizing costs recovery through efficient handling of insurance cases, says Mr Busk
