Aug 12, 2016 (newstodate): The new Finnish carrier Go! Aviation has taken delivery of its first three Pilatus PC-12 aircraft and named a new CEO to steer the development of the airline.
Taking up the driver's seat already from May 1, 2016, is Riikka Oksanen, coming from a position as Managing Director at HUBER Packaging Oy and with a background from several Finnair companies including Stora Enso.
Ms Oksanen has thus replaced Jorma Kario who served as CEO and President of Go! Aviation from the start in April 2014.
Founded in 2014 and granted its AOC in February 2016, Go! Aviation will launch commercial services from August 2016 with flights on the route between Kuopio and Helsinki, and this will then be extended to continue between Helsinki and Tallinn, in Estonia.
