Aug 11, 2016 (newstodate): Starting from October 5, 2016, Finnair is to allocate the Airbus A350 on five weekly rotations to London Heathrow Airport.
Today, the A350 aircraft is used only on one Finnair flight to London on three weekdays.
The Airbus A350 will replace the Airbus A320 currently used on these flights, boosting the carrier's cargo capacity between Helsinki and London that is also provided by shared freighter service with IAG Cargo operating a twice-weekly Airbus A300-600 freighter aircraft from DHL Aviation.
