Aug 05, 2016 (newstodate): Ingolf Petersen, since 2013 based in Chennai, India, is to set up an own company - Departure Solutions International.
Starting from August 1, 2016, the new company DSI soon operating out of Chennai and Bombay, India, plans to offer centralized load control.
Mr Petersen's Indian adventure began in March 2013, based in Chennai as Novia International Consulting Chief Resident Representative with the task of supporting Bhadra International India Ltd., a leading Indian airport ground handling service provider with services at the airports of Chennai, Kolkata, Trivandrum, Calicut, Coimbatore, Trichy and Mangalore, all in southern India, to pursue the business opportunities as India's airport handling sector was liberalized.
The JV-agreement with the Indian handling services provider was entered by Novia International Consulting - a separate company owned and controlled by Mr Lars Thuesen, with no strings to the handling company Novia.
Prior to that, Mr Petersen is still remembered in the Scandinavian airport handling business from his 24 years serving with the Danish handling provider Novia that was acquired by Aviator in March 2011.
