Aug 23, 2016 (newstodate): From September 2016, Poland will have daily direct non-stop flight connections to Beijing.
As earlier reported, Air China will commence flights on the route between Warsaw and Beijing, and the date for the opening flight has now been set for September 21, 2016.
Operating with Airbus A330-200 aircraft, Air China will be offering four weekly flights on the route that will be the first by Air China to Poland.
The carrier's Star Alliance partner LOT is already offering three weekly rotations on the route with Bo9eing 787 aircraft since May 29, 2012, and together the two partners have thus now secured a daily connection between the capitals.
Poland will become Air China's third new market in Eastern Europe, since the carrier on May 1, 2015, launched flights on a triangular route Beijing-Minsk-Budapest-Beijing.
