Jul 25, 2016 (newstodate): The Lithuanian leisure carrier Small Planet Airlines has announced the appointment of a new CEO.
Stepping into the driver's seat is Kristijonas Kaikaris who comes with a background as EPC Lead of Microsoft Kazakhstan, General Manager of Microsoft Lithuania, Country Manager of Oracle in Lithuania, President of Infobalt Association and Sales Director at IBM.
Mr Kaikaris is thus replacing Vytautas Kaikaris who will now be CEO of Small Planet Group comprising airlines in Lithuania, Poland and Germany.
-After adding dozens of new colleagues, new departments and new countries into our operations map in the last couple of years, the time has come to strengthen our Top Management team too, says Vytautas Kaikaris, CEO of Small Planet Group.
Small Planet Group was established in April 2014 to allow for expansion by new business ventures in the form of subsidiaries in new markets.
In this summer's flight schedule, Small Planet Airlines has grown its fleet to comprising 17 Airbus A320 and four A321 aircraft.
