Jul 25, 2016 (newstodate): Since June 25, 2016, a newcomer to the line maintenance services at Copenhagen Airport - the Estonian company Magnetic MRO - has been serving its first airline customer.
-Our airline launch customer at Copenhagen Airport is the Spanish carrier Air Nostrum, but we expect business to grow with a primary focus on smaller airlines that will benefit from our flexibility in provision of technical services on new-generation aircraft that demand less heavy maintenance hangar work, but more line maintenance work where the aircraft operate, says Rauno Parras, Magnetic MRO Head of Line Maintenance Business Unit.
-Alongside our new operations at Copenhagen we have also opened new line maintenance stations at Milan Malpensa, Vilnius, Oulu, and Gallivare airports to pursue a similar strategy. And we will be ready to add more new stations in response to customer demands as part of our international growth strategy outside of the Tallinn Airport home base.
-Ultimately, our long term goal is to build a Top 3 network of independent line stations in Europe, says mr Parras.
