Jun 17, 2016 (newstodate): Planning of a new passenger terminal at Sweden's Gothenburg Landvetter Airport is to start already by autumn 2016.
Swedavia, managing the airport, has contracted NCC with the task, and the physical construction works will commence by Q3, 2017 while the 10,000 sq m terminal will be commissioned in early 2020.
The new terminal will be built adjacent to the existing terminal, adding a further three boarding gates and two bus gates to facilitate handling of growing passenger flows and larger aircraft.
