Jun 07, 2016 (newstodate): The market for direct flights between Stockholm in Sweden and Bucharest in Romania may be close to saturation in summer 2016.
Since June 4, 2016, the Romanian carrier Blue Air has started flights between the two destinations, offering two weekly rotations on the route with Boeing 737 aircraft.
Blue Air is thus competing with another Romanian carrier, Tarom that is already on-line from June 2, 2014, between Stockholm and Bucharest with six weekly rotations using Boeing 7837 aircraft.
And rounding off the offerings on the route is WIZZ Air operating from Stockholm Skavsta Airport with another two weekly rotations using Airbus A320 aircraft.
