Jun 28, 2016 (newstodate): While politicians are stumbling over their feet in chaos after the British decision to leave the EU, one airline is outspoken in its view of the situation: Ryanair.
In a Wall Street Journal interview, Ryanair's charismatic Michael O'Leary says that the carrier is unlikely to place any of its 50 new aircraft to be delivered in 2017 in Britain.
Instead, the carrier is now turning all attention to its businesses in Continental Europe.
-There clearly is going to be a hit to UK GDP and to European GDP. There is three to four months of considerable uncertainty. The pound has fallen through the floor. It has all the feel and hallmark of another 9/11, Mr O'Leary says in the interview.
