Jun 30, 2016 (newstodate): The Gulf low-cost carrier flyDubai has seen traffic growing on its existing route between Dubai and Prague, in the Czech Republic - and is now increasing frequency on the route.
Starting from July 1, 2016, the carrier will grow its schedule to a daily service with Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
As part of its services to Central and Eastern Europe, flyDubai first launched services to Prague from December 5, 2014, with four weekly rotations on the route that connects to onward flights at Dubai.
flyDubai is thus competing head-on with Emirates, also offering a daily flight since July 1, 2010, and the Czech budget airline Smart Wings, now also offering a daily flight on the route after reopening the route in 2015.
