Jun 30, 2016 (newstodate): The largest regional airline in Scandinavia, the Norwegian carrier Wideroe is now fully separate from SAS ownership.
SAS has announced the sale of its last remaining 20 percent of the shares in Wideroe to the investment company WF Holding that earlier acquired 80 percent of the shares from SAS in 2013.
Wideroe operates a fleet comprising 41 Bombardier Dash-8 series aircraft on regional subsidized routes under contracts as well as a number of routes on behalf of SAS.
