Jun 03, 2016 (newstodate): Iran has high hopes for a further relaxation by EU on commercial operations into the EU markets.
The EU Commission is expected to publish a new revised version of its safety "black list" by June 16, 2016, and both EC and EASA have recently conducted an EU aviation safety assessment of Iran as part of the preparations for the new issue of the list.
Under the existing conditions, Iran Air is only allowed to operate 10 Airbus A300 and two A310 aircraft on flights into the EU, but these restrictions are probably to be eased.
