Jun 22, 2016 (newstodate): With the first flight on June 23, 2016, China Eastern Airlines is launching a new regular direct scheduled service connecting Prague and Shanghai.
The carrier will offer three weekly rotations on the route served with Airbus A330-200 aircraft.
The airline has contracted Czech Airlines Technics, a subsidiary of the Czech Aeroholding Group, to provide aircraft maintenance services at the airport.
China Eastern Airlines will become Czech Airlines Technics' third Chinese airline customer at Prague Airport, together with Hainan Airlines flying in from Beijing since September 2015, and Sichuan Airlines that opened flights on the route to Prague from Chengdu on February 25, 2016.
