Jun 23, 2016 (newstodate): After completing a series of four test flights, the sixth Airbus A350 aircraft is now to land at Helsinki Airport today.
The aircraft first flew on April 13, but the delivery was delayed due to snags caused by production problems on the part of cabin interior manufacturers.
The next and 7th Airbus A350 for Finnair will follow later this summer, completing this year's delivery schedule.
Airbus has now delivered a total of 25 Airbus A360 aircraft to six operators, including eight to Qatar Airways, while Finnair is the first European airline to phase in this new aircraft.
The carrier took delivery of its first aircraft on October 7, 2015, and has placed orders for a total of 19 aircraft.
