Jun 10, 2016 (newstodate): Cargo volumes through Estonia's Tallinn Airport his a flat "0" percentage in growth in May 2016.
A total of 1,287 tonnes of cargo was handled at the airport, unchanged against last year.
Airfreight export volumes were actually up by 74.3 percent to 368 tones, but this was outbalanced by a drop by 13.8 percent in imports, 952 tonnes, and mail volumes were also down.
During January-May 2016 the airport had handled 5,208 tonnes of cargo, down 1.6 percent, y-o-y.
Airfreight exports have, however, seen a healthy growth by 27.8 percent to 1,421 tonnes during these five months.
