Jun 28, 2016 (newstodate): With all contract details settled, the supervisory board of Tallinn Airport has now confirmed Piret Murk-Dubout as new Tallinn Airport CEO as of August 29, 2016.
The position became vacant as Rein Loik left the CEO office in February 2016 after serving since 1998 when the airport handled little more than 560,000 passengers and 6,000 tonnes of cargo, growing to over two mio passengers and 16,156 tonnes of cargo in 2015.
As new CEO, Ms Murk-Dubout will take over the responsibility for carrying through the large 120 mio Euro development projects facing the airport over the coming two-three years, including extension of the runway, extension of the existing passenger terminal and other infrastructure.
