The carrier performed its first flight on September 3, 2015, and since then Beijing Capital Airlines offered one weekly flight with Airbus A330-200 aircraft from Hangzhou and Beijing, respectively, to Copenhagen carrying Chinese tourists on package tours during the summer period.
The flights to Copenhagen were the first international services by China Capital Airlines, a member of the HNA Group.
According to China Aviation Daily, Beijing Capital Airlines will also launch flights from Beijing to Helsinki, starting from May 2017 with two weekly rotations using Airbus A330-200 aircraft.
