From that date, airspace users see a seamless Free Route Airspace across the NEFAB East comprising Estonia, Finland, and Latvia and the DK/SE FAB including Denmark and Sweden, enabling airlines to plan and fly user-preferred trajectories across these five states without boundaries.
In the next steps, the seamless Free Route Airspace area will expand with erasing remaining borders with Norway and will continue further on with connecting to the Free Route Airspace in the UK, Ireland, and Iceland within the Borealis FRA programme.
