Jun 16, 2016 (newstodate): The Norwegian helicopter company NorAviation has expanded its fleet of rotary-wing aircraft.
The company has signed contracts for delivery of 13 new Airbus AS350 Ecureuil, eight of which are on firm orders while contracts for another five are being firmed up, with delivery slated for 2017/2018.
So far, two of the new aircraft have been delivered to the main base at Oslo.
NorAviation, set up in 2001 with aerial inspection of the country's power grid as its original main purpose, is now engaged in a broad range of business segment including charters, governmental contracts, sightseeing tours and other ad-hoc commitments from bases around the country.
