May 17, 2016 (newstodate): Ukraine International Airlines is to start traffic to its second destination in Lithuania from this summer.
With the first flight on June 19, 2016, the carrier will be offering two weekly rotations on the route between Kiev and Palanga, on Lithuania's Baltic coast, operated with Boeing 737 and Embraer 190 aircraft.
The carrier is already flying between Kiev and Vilnius since June 1, 2013, when it took over from UTAir Ukraine.
In the Baltic region, Ukraine International Airlines is also operating flights between Kiev and Riga, in Latvia, since March 30, 2015
