May 20, 2016 (newstodate): Ukraine is increasing the number of open skies-agreements with other countries.
As the latest results of these efforts, Ukraine has now concluded an air services agreement with Armenia removing all restrictions on air services between the two countries.
Under the former agreement signed in 1995, restrictions applied on flight frequencies and designation of carriers.
On May 19, 2016, Ukraine reached a similar result in negotiations with Estonia, in March 2016 similar agreements were reached with Poland and Italy, and in January Ukraine and USA signed an open skies agreement with USA.
