May 23, 2016 (newstodate): Without much ado, Turkish Airlines is reported to be testing a new weekly freighter service at Oslo Airport, in Norway.
Tempted by the ever-increasing demand for uplift of Norwegian fresh salmon to the world's marketplace, Turkish Airlines will be routing an Airbus A330-200F freighter through Oslo on Sundays, with the first flight on Sunday May 22, 2016.
According to available information at this moment, the flights originate from Istanbul to Helsinki, continuing to Oslo and calling at Stockholm Airport before returning to Istanbul.
Turkish Airlines Cargo has been on-line at Helsinki with two weekly freighter flights from Istanbul since December 2011, and at Stockholm since October 30, 2011, also with two weekly services.
In Scandinavia, Turkish Airlines Cargo also launched freighter flights to Denmark's Billund Airport on April 10, 2016.
