May 13, 2016 (newstodate): Good news for Norway's seemingly insatiable exporters of seafood: Korean Air Cargo is again increasing freighter capacity at Oslo Airport.
From June 9, 2016, the carrier will be offering four weekly flights from Oslo to Incheon, South Korea, with Boeing 777F aircraft flying in from Vienna.
The carrier first launched services from Oslo in 2003 with one weekly Boeing 747-400F freighter flight, adding a second flight on September 3, 2004, and later going up to three weekly rotations from October 27, 2013, all using Boeing 777F aircraft with the capacity of lifting up to 100 tonnes of cargo.
Norway's annual seafood export by air now stands around 160,000 tonnes, only some nine percent of which is so far lifted out of Norway.
